To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. Click on Dog Application to apply.

All of Waverly Pet Rescue's dogs and puppies are current on vaccinations, tested heartworm negative, and spayed or neutered.

In order to be considered for an adoption today you must be 21 years of age, have knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household, have a valid Id with current address, your landlord’s name and phone number.

Adult: About 3 years old as of October 2024

Breed: American Bulldog mix.

Sex: Female

Size: 64 pounds.

Coat length: Short.

House-trained: Yes.

Good in a home with: Children. She does ok with some dogs and not others. Not sure why she decides she does not like certain dogs.

Unknown: Cats.

Personality: Darla is a sweet girl and loves people and children.

Required: A fenced in yard and a forever home.

BAGEL

Young: About a year old as of September 2024

Breed: Beagle and shepherd mix maybe?

Sex: Male

Size: 50 pounds.

Coat length: Short.

House-trained: Yes.

Good in a home with: He does not get along with all dogs. There are some he plays really well with and others he wants to pick on. Would definitely introduce him to another dog if you have one before you decide to adopt him.

Unknown: Cats. Children.

Personality: He is very friendly with people. Absolutely loves belly rubs. Think he could lay there all day to get them if you let him.

Required: A fenced in yard.
